Middle School Mathematics/ Hebrew
I have been teaching since 1974. I actually taught several years before getting a degree in education. I have always wanted to teach even though my parents wanted me to become a doctor. I taught in a private school in Brooklyn and even ran the school after the founder passed. I went to Hunter College in Manhattan and I graduated from Brooklyn College. I absolutely love teaching. I have been teaching in TECI Prep since 1984. For several years I taught fourth through eighth grade, teaching Math, Social Studies, Science, Hebrew, and ELA. In 2006 three new teachers were added to the staff and I no longer taught Science, Social Studies or ELA. This September I joined the staff at ISM. I am really enjoying my classes. The students remind me of why I love teaching. I am so happy that I have joined the staff. I am the Math teacher for upperclassmen. I also teach Hebrew. I am looking forward to a great year.
