Upper Grade Mathematics
I have been a professional part time or full time tutor mainly in mathematics since 2009. In 2012, I decided to pursue graduate studies in mathematics and have since received degrees from Clark Atlanta University and the University of Florida. I have always enjoyed mathematics for its seeming objectivity and as a means to hone analytical, critical and rational thinking skills. I thrive as both a student and teacher in small classroom settings. Some of my interests include Number Theory, Information Theory, Linguistics, and Economics. I enjoy learning new things by listening to podcasts and reading books more than watching television. One of my goals is to introduce students to the true nature and power of mathematics at earlier ages than is the current norm.
